MIT 2019 Annual Mystery Hunt
Client: Massachuttes Institute of Technology. Cambridge, M.A.
Hired to create a diverse variety of web asset illustrations for the 2019 MIT Annual Mystery Hunt. The design challenge was to interpret and create adaptable environments based on different holidays in the year. With collaboration from the event team, I helped lead the art direction, ideation, and functionality of the overall project and in the end the products fostered a countless amount of new work and style direction, which has been one of my favorite projects I have been able to be part of.
The illustrations primary function was used as the web page headers. Then they were designed to be disassembled, like a puzzle, and used differently throughout the website. I was not is involved with the design of the website. I was not a part of developing the website. My tasks only included making the illustrations. You can view the full context of the map, illustrations and website in the MIT Puzzle Archive.
