All False: Album Covers, Identity, & Experience

Client: An ongoing collaboration with All False, a band from Portland, ME.

The design system and direction were established by conceptually visualizing the sense of reverb, emotion, and dreamy qualities of the music. The system repeats seamlessly for each cover/single, making them all feel cohesive, yet also having a variety that makes each stand out individually on their own. Focusing on distorted and ambient effects for the main typography with different atmospheric gradients and colors in the background creates enough change and variety but still feels connected to the greater system. Each cover is associated with a different single releasing monthly.
